Microsoft approached us to reimagine a way to present and market a new offering from Azure.

Without an official name, they needed us to develop a brand identity and language that reflected the current Azure style, while also introducing a fresh, distinctive visual vibe for their new offering.

With tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders, and numerous departments, Microsoft needed an agency that could learn existing guidelines and create something bold and compelling.

From the beginning, we were more than just an agency—we were an extension of their internal team, shaping the identity of what became Azure Essentials (AE). We developed the design, refined the messaging, and created a suite of marketing and communication assets that established AE as a distinct, yet integral, part of Azure.

  • Visual identity and branding: While Microsoft provided the name, we built the Azure Essentials visual brand. We introduced a new color gradient beyond standard Azure templates, giving AE a unique yet recognizable presence within the broader Azure ecosystem.

  • Video production: Our team worked closely with stakeholders to script, design, and produce both internal and external videos that introduced AE and explained its value to customers.

  • Presentation and communication assets: We created and rebranded internal informational decks and external customer-facing guidance decks, ensuring clarity and consistency.

  • Event and marketing materials: To support launch events, we developed event visuals, email banners, and social media assets to make sure that AE had a strong and consistent presence.

  • Editorial services: Leveraging our design work, we created e-books and blog content that communicated AE’s value to customers..

Unlike traditional agencies, we functioned as an internal partner with Microsoft, collaborating with Microsoft to anticipate problems, brainstorm solutions, and develop fresh marketing solutions that spoke their brand language.
